Today I show a couple of shots of my home made Halloween costumes from grade school, probably 5th and 6th grade. The skeleton mask was my attempt at dressing as Skeletor, but I was unable to put together much of a costume beyond the mask and the awesome staff and ‘morning star’ – I made those out of fiberglass resin inside of plaster-of-paris molds. The other shots are from my ‘ninja’ costume I made, but sadly it looks more like an arab assassin. That costume, however, I made by myself, by hand, on a sewing machine. Well, I had a little help from my grandma Archer, who taught me how to sew and use a sewing machine to make the outfit, but I had my hands in the process from start to finish. Very cool.
