One of the unfortunate developments in the land of Isaac, is that he’s pretty much decided that he’s not going to sleep anywhere except laying on momma or daddy. The benefit is, I get to sit and watch him sleep, and in his sleep, he dreams. I know they say that when a baby smiles in their sleep, it’s just gas, but what happens when they laugh? I swear, Isaac has to be connecting up with the gestalt and remembering some past-life events, because this kid dreams and his dreams make him laugh. Other things also make him upset, but I see that when he’s awake, so I’m less interested in that reaction. The smiles rock too, but I’m most entranced when he just lets out a total belly laugh. Totally can’t explain that one by gas or random neuronal firing.
