Sleep is good for one’s mood

So last night, I went to bed at 10:45, and woke up around 6:30-7am. I feel frikkin’ great! I don’t know if I will do this religiously, but wow — a full night’s sleep really is an awesome mood elevator!
That being said, this was a pretty spiritually inspirational weekend. I feel rejuvinated, and ready to tackle the world and all its concerns.
Let’s just hope the vote doesn’t kill my buzz.

  1. How much sleep do you normally get? Sleep is better than coffee.. ;)

  2. I get probably between 4-6 hours of sleep a night, on average.

  3. Dr. Asbury, a noted proponent of sleep, suggests 8 hours a night for good health.
4-6 hours a night? Dude, I would be crabby & tired if I slept that little. However, I do it out of love for the sport. I’ve always loved sleeping when I can get it. Nothing better than a nice 12 hour rest. Granted, I know children rip that pleasure away from you toot-sweet, but I’m sure you could get more than 4-6 hours.
    I’m nagging now..

  4. Uh honey….I TOLD YOU SO! (ahem)
I think you should strive for at least two full nights sleep a week (and by that I mean anything 7 hours and over). It’d do wonders for your whole life, really it would.
    :-*

  5. Thing is, and I don’t mean to be a killjoy and whatnot, but the idea of unleashing a regularly happy Josh unto the world is something that could probably keep *me* up at night.
    And I need my sleep.
